Cement Vessels
Once the wax is down to 1/2", we recommend cleaning the melted wax out with paper towels then gently hand washing the vessels with warm soap and water. (Scrubbing may remove sealant). Once clean, we prefer to leave them as-is or paint them for a fun project!

Although your vessels are sealed with multiple coats of sealant, cement is very porous and will eventually allow water to soak in. For this reason, we do not recommend using vessels for wet plants. Dry plants/air plants work great!
Common Traits of Natural Soy
Two common traits of a natural soy candle that may differ from other waxes include rough/bumpy tops between burns and "hangup," which is when a thin layer of wax hangs on to the wall of the vessel. Don't worry! Neither of these will affect the performance of the candle. Bumpy tops is an indicator that no additives or paraffin wax has been used in the candle, and the "hangup" will catch up and burn off after a few uses.
